But the Kurzaal bar is also an unrivalled meeting place during happy hour or after a musical. What is more, it has a rich history. The stage of the famous Kurhaus concert hall used to be on this very spot. Many famous entertainers performed here, among them Duke Ellington, Edith Piaff, Maria Callas, and the Rolling Stones, who gave their shortest performance ever here. Portraits on the wall behind the bar remind us of these historic events. With live music and open into the early hours, this bar is a must.'
