The Kurzaal is the prestigious core of the historic Kurhaus hotel. Built in 1885 the Kurzaal featered uncountable historic
concerts by top performers from around the globe, including Maria Callas, Edith Piaf, Miles Davis and the Rolling
Stones. The Kurzaal (1000m2) and the gallery (450m2) on the mezannine can be used for a diversity of functions.
Light, sound and video can be suspended from 4 industrial hanging points in the roof structure of the Kurzaal while
leaving the 5 chandeliers as a natural decorum. Projections can be pictured above the existing stage, and extensive
staging can be built over the staircase leading to the lobby level.
